A 7.0 devastating earthquake struck Haiti on January 12, 2010 at 16:53:09 local time, with an epicenter only 15 km from Port Au Prince.
Haiti 7.0 is a photo-essay consisting of 56 photographs organized in three groups: one dedicated to explore the surrounding following the first hour of the earthquake; the second one studies the next 100 after the event while the third one focuses on Haiti one year after the catastrophe.
The journalistic follow-up of this type of phenomenon allows us to reflect and analyze the fact – one of the most terrible catastrophes in human history – as well as the way in which tragedies such as this one are overcome in time and with the intervention of different factors, such as politics, economy and society.
