Nature is Wolfgang Laib’s starting point.

His works are based on the use of simple elements such as rice, beeswax, pollen, milk and marble.

He explored the use of these materials for extended periods of time to create works of art.

The concept of being in harmony with nature is the common thread that runs throughout his entire oeuvre; thus, the simplicity and frailty of his works prompt us to contemplate and meditate.

The retrospective “No Beginning – No End”, composed by important works such as Milk Rock and Rice Food, was shown in Bolivia thanks to the Institut Für Auslandsbeziehungen e.V.- ifa and Goethe Institut.
