Dutch elegance
October 2006
Public: 3.850 visitors
Art and concept; concept and use; use and fashion, fashion and art.
This was the equation for the exhibit of avant-garde accessories in which Dutch designers combined personal, cultural and social experiences to charge the objects of our daily use and dress with expressive value: shoes, hats, necklaces and purses made out of non-traditional materials proposed a reformulation of the aesthetic imaginaries of the fashion industry.
This exhibit was possible thanks to the financial support provided by the Prince Bernhard Cultural Fund, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Dutch Embassy.
