Carnival, the “Grand Party” of the Bolivian people, is a fundamental iconic celebration among our country’s popular festivities.

It brings people together through rituals and dances. Manzana 1 invited ten local artists to paint representative works in front of a live audience based on different concepts yet working together within a single action to represent the festive spirit of this national tradition.

The result was an event charged with color and forms in which the visual manifestations facilitated the acknowledgement of a diverse culture.

This exhibit was simply and extension of the experience lived in the streets, an expansion of the festivities of the days of Carnival, of everything that identifies us as Bolivian people.
