Organized by Huari Beer and Kiosco Art Gallery, the third edition of the Huari Art Prize summoned 285 projects, from different departments of the country, based on the central theme of exploring the myths and legends of Bolivia.

The topic provided ample margin to work using diverse concepts and media, expressing popular and personal dimensions in a single symbolic product.

This event was possible thanks to the cooperation of different cultural spaces in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra; thus, one of the main objectives of Manzana 1 was to actively cooperate in this project to further the integration of young artists with different audiences.

The gallery displayed the works of five artists who participated in the event; among these was the winner of the first prize Joaquin Sanchez, while the remaining four received honorable mentions.
